Some people seem to enjoy being sarcastic,snide,snarky,mean..for no apparent reason. They seem to "get off" on being that way regularly and consistently. Maybe endorphins are released and it makes them feel good? What do you think? Why are they like that?

Answer:
It's 'hurt' expressing itself. They need love big time, people showing them that they matter too. What is so aweful is that their behaviour engenders a reaction against them which reinforces their behaviour and they end up in a vicious circle. It takes a very strong loving person to break it.

I'm not sure, but to me it's like the little dog / big dog syndrome. I have a big bad ass looking rottweiler and my mum has a little miniature pomeranian. My rotty just minds his own business, does his thing and doesn't bother anyone or anything ~ but the whole time he's trying to do it, that little pom dog is attacking on him .. it's crazy. I have seen the same type of behavior in people and i find it related to self esteem issues bought on by their own inferiority complex. Like the little dog does, these people also think if they make a big noise they'll somehow be *bigger* than the imagined enemy, but in truth, they are their own worst enemy.

Maybe they grew up in such an environment and genuinely have no idea how they come across to people.

What kind of moronic question is that, you big idiot? ;-) Seriously, I really don't know. Some people's kids! Then again, I used to jump on newbies with attitudes over on QnA. I liked to think of it as "tough love". I'm still rather bombastic on occasion, particularly if someone has a large chip on their shoulder ... I'll knock it off ... along with their head. ;-)

I think there's a difference between meanness and plain sarcasm. Being sarcastic is a nice way to handle life sometimes, IMO -- it doesn't have to involve being mean to someone.

I think that emitting a lot of negativity, specifically sarcasm, masks underlying fears of insecurity and distrust. When people are open and positive, they radiate an overall sense of health, security, and love. The negative attributes only serve to stroke the person's ego at the expense of toher people - it makes them feel good in that they are feeding their own ego/ issues.

I just love pissing people off. Honestly idk if it's the fact that it makes me happy of if i just have some deep seeded urge to fuck other peoples state of being up. It's just a jolly good time. Fuck happiness and if i'm the one to destroy it then i guess i got my so called "endorphin" fix. HAHA. suk my balls.
