In rockband 2 can you buy/download songs to play if so can they be any songs such as all time low songs or would they only be older classic songs? what about guitar hero 4?

You can download new songs to play in Rock Band 2, and there's a very wide variety of music available. I would think pretty much anyone would be able to find songs they'd like. I don't know about Guitar Hero 4 because it's not out yet, but I wouldn't count on it having as many songs available as Rock Band does. Harmonix has been absolutely outstanding with the downloadable content they've provided.
