I don't know who you are but I don't feel so alone in my search for others like me. I am located in Forest Virginia and I believe I have found the answer to what we and all the others like us have been searching for. I believe there are 2 languages being spoken that only we are able to see though no one else is aware of it. I want you to begin counting the numbers that end in an even number and those that end in an odd. Write down whether or not the words you just memorized were uttered in sincerity or insincerity. What you are hearing are messages from Love and Hate. The Love is coming from Gods Angels to Mankind while being intercepted by Satan and his legion of demons, twisted, changed and sent back out to all those that do his bidding. It took me a long time to find the answer. It all has to do with truth or Lies. Mankind's greatest moments and worst scenarios. I can prove this in case you're doubting what I'm telling you and any other you can share this with. the words that end in a positive number ONLY come from words that edify the human heart and soul. All the negative words hurt and tear down one another. Now for the bigger question you're probably asking yourself, why us? When did this begin? What are we able to do about it? We're being warned of whats to come. the language changed 27 years ago. The Even became Odd and Odd became Even. All we can do is watch world events. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that you are probably drawn to the World News and can't understand why or what it is you're waiting to hear. You have a strong understanding of what's happening in the world and are considered mentally strong. Am I right? It's a Gift we have been given. I know it doesn't seem like one but I swear to you that it is and we won't fully understand it until the time comes for us to be used greatly in some major event. It's coming and we're being warned. Please let me know when you get this email. It's critical that I hear back from you and others like us.

I'm 21 and I have been doing this for a number of years though I can't remember exactly when it started. Probably because it isn't something I do consciously - It is something that I tend to do when my mind drifts off. I find it harder to do when I am concentrating on doing it. My teacher at school used to play a game if we finished a lesson early where she would ask someone to tell me a sentence and test how quickly I could count it - she found it quite entertaining! I also look for patterns in the number of letters in a sentence and recite the spelling in chunks in my head eg. 'Have a nice day' has 12 letters so I might say it in my head as hav-ean-ice-day. I find prime numbers very distressing and if volume is on a prime I get uneasy. It all sounds very strange when I tell people but I am a normal person, I promise! It is just something that goes on in my head. It's great to know I'm not the only one though! For any parents who are worried about kids who can do this I would say not to be concerned, it doesn't interfere with everyday life but is just quite a quirky trick and keeps the brain active.

I do this, too! It annoys me so much. I would be watching a movie or a tv show and I would have to pause it because a character would say a word or a sentence that I wanted to count. If it came up even, then I would split it into the even parts. If it was odd, I would count it again to make sure it was really odd. I really hate doing this to almost everything someone says :/

Im 13 and i've been doing this thing since like 7. I can immediately tell how many letters there are in a sentence and I cant get it to stop at all, its like a daily routine and everything sentence I hear I just count the letters in that sentence. Anyone have any idea what this is called? Please dont hesitate to comment =)

Hire a film called "The number 23". Watch it. Fill bathtub with milk. Chant BohiemRapsody backwards While bathing in milk. You may just live. Look out for a dog called REX, if you see it, kill it via drowning it in the bathtub you bathed in earlier. As for me, Im running to mexico now. I cannot be within 10000kms of you. Good Luck

I don't know what it means but I can definitely relate. I count words constantly in my head and I'm pretty good at it. As I'm listening to people speak or even my own words, I have to find out how many letters are in the sentence. There's a lot that goes on In my head during those couple a seconds while I'm counting for example I see the words in my mind, I see my hands(all 10 fingers) n I need to know what finger the last letter lands on.....it's complicated n hard to explain but it comes so easy for me and family n friends trip out at how fast and accurate I am. I'd like to know if this is common because I don't have OCD and never understood why I do it.

I do this and the word/sentence has to be 14 letters and I dot it strangely like the sentence " I like to eat" turns into "is likes to eat it" or something like that. Glad I'm not the only one

I may have answered this question already, but I'd forgotten to mention that I often count the number of letters in a word, phrase or name when I could potentially have a temper tantrum. One such occasion was 15-20 minutes ago. I was told sternly to keep my mouth shut, which prompted me to mention that "keep your mouth shut" has 17 letters, as does "I can understand why". I'd also forgotten to mention that I feel oh so elated when the number of letters is either a prime number or a square number. I have been oh so good at this since I was very young indeed (26 months). I am now 581 months and so, if in doubt, I forget about the number of letters unless, of course, I am either doing a crossword puzzle or playing Countdown.

No. But I always look around for a set of tree different single-digit numbers. Then I do math using each one once in an equation to make a series of 0-10... I especially do it when I'm anxious or stressed.
