Have you tried We Cheer?

Everyone around me is sad or grumpy, I have tried to cheer them up but they just say "SHUT UP" any ideas of how to cheer them up without getting an answer like that?

  We can't control how others feel or what they say, but here are a couple ideas. Keeping yourself positive will do good, even if it's invisible at the moment. A warm, sincere smile, even without a word, can do much good. Kind, honest praise goes a long way. Looking for the good in others, even those who may be sad, depressed or frustrated, can lift their spirits. Most people are upset for reasns that have nothing to do with you. If you can tactfully learn a little about what bothers them, they may warm. You don't need any advice for them; a listening ear can do much to lighten another's load. Of course, this may not change things overnight, but if you keep at it, you may see gradual improvement. People don't forget who's been kind and generous. Thanks for the question.
