Why can't I ever finish something I've started.... like a program in school. I'm smart but I'm just not motivated, I feel like I'm lacking something in my life. I have this idea about starting my own roofing company. Is it a bad idea to quit college?

I would say it is a bad idea to quit college. Perhaps switch programs to be more resembling running your own business. If you want to start your own business, that's a great idea. But it takes a lot of research, time, dedication, money, etc. And if it fails, it's always good to have an education to fall back on. I would start the research, etc, into your own business, but stay in school.
