How can I remove hyperlink?

How can I remove all hyperlinks in a column with 200 rows and each cell has a hyperlink? It is a price list with stock codes from my supplier and I want to make a quote program without those hyperlinks

  • Answer:

Highlight the column. Copy. Paste Special. Choose Values. Paste.

The only way I have found is to right click the first one and select Hyperlink... Remove Hyperlink and then repeatedly hit Enter, followed by Control + y. I suppose a macro would be useful if you do it often.

The easiest way to solve this is through MS notepad. If the records are many, select the column containing the hyperlinks that you want to get rid off. Copy and paste this column into notepad. Select all the data in the notepad file that you have just copied and copy (that is copy from the notepad file). Go back to excel and insert a column alongside the one containing the data with the hyperlinks. Paste the data from notepad there and then compare the two columns. The data should be the same but for the hyperlinks. Michael, Jobcactus.com
