What are the natural resources of Kenya?

Why are we still in Iraq? If it is truely to instill a democracy, what about other places in the world like Darfur, Chad, Kenya, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, etc? Not enough natural resources there?

  • Answer:

You're right when you mention resources. History shows us that almost all wars are fought over resources. The history of the middle east tho is pretty fascinating. There's something about that place on earth (more than the oil - tho the oil certainly fuels the conflicts (scuse the pun)) that has drawn conflict since man first wielded a rock. American involvement there has also been pretty interesting. And with a bit of research you will quickly see that "instilling democracy" can't really be what it's about. If the GOP were that interested in spreading the gospel of democracy, one must wonder about America's good friends Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to name a couple.
