How do you pop the question to the guy that you like?

I need help,ok,i never proposed to a guy before,do i get me and him a ring for when i propose?how do i go about proposing?i love him so much and i can't wait to pop the question,itll probably be this january 2009

Wow, you are so brave. I'd be too nervous to do that. Make sure you can handle the possibility of being turned down. Now, on to your question. Traditionally, if the man is proposing, he doesn't buy a ring for himself (which I think is silly, as it's a hold-over from a patriarchal society in which the female was a male's property). If you can afford to do so, you could buy rings for both of you, but do not wear yours until you get his answer. Good luck! Come back to AB and let us know how it goes!
