I have 2 tvs. Use roof antenna, signal amp, and 2 splitters. One splitter runs coax cable to new tv and one cable to 2nd splitter. 2nd splitter runs to jacks in 2 rooms. When I hook coax from old tv to converter box I lose signal to new tv. Any ideas?

Answer:
This may sound like a silly question, but are you sure you are connecting the old TV to the *output* of the converter box and not the input, and likewise that the cable from the jack is not going to the output of the converter box? If you did accidentally connect it the wrong way, I can see why the other TV would have problems; the converter box would be driving a signal out to the antenna, and interfering with incoming signals.
