I have wood floors. I'd like to reapply a coat of polyurethane. Do I have to re-strip my floor or can I just buff over the old polyurethane before applying?

Answer:
Strip the old polyurethane off. It is a real job. Polyutherane is plastic infused so it will require special chemcials and alot of elbow grease. If you do not remove the old the new will penetrate at a different rate and you will splotches. Mr Bill
