How can I become a Video Game Designer?

How do you become a video game tester or video game designer.

    Once you locate a place which specializes in this, it's just a matter of applying for the job. Most requirements demand that, obviously, you can stand to play video games for extended periods of time and you have to be able to be repetitive, extremely at that, that you know the basics to most genres, and if there are translation specifics, that you are fluent in more than one language. Otherwise though, big companies like Ubisoft or SquareEnix have their own game testing laboratories within their offices, and it takes heaps and heaps of courses and special education just to get in there, but smaller companies deliver their games to individual laboratories, which may be easier to start with. Video game designer is different though, you're going to have to spend years in various college courses, such as multimedia and so forth, then more specialized courses. You should check the colleges and universities near you to find out how though, but they do have entire places devoted to the video game industry. If you want to get in them, you might have to move though.
