Does anyone have Xplornet Satellite internet? If so does it work for playing Playstation 3 online video games?

I have xplorernet satelite internet and it rarely works with my nhl 08 online and never with COD. This is because I can't get a NAT type. Even when i used a direct connection bypassing the router it still wouldn't work. Can anyone help me?
