To begin with, you need to figure out what sort of video output(s) your computer has, and what sort of video inputs your TV can accept. Some newer TV's can take a lot of different standards (composite, component, S-VHS, S-VGA, DVI, HDMI). Most computers usually have SVGA or DVI. Some computers with multimedia support have S-VHS outputs, and the newer ones may have HDMI. So find out this two sets of things, and we can help you figure out the best way to connect the two together. When you say you want to connect your video game to the computer, do you mean to the computer's monitor? If so, they same sort of questions need to be answered: what sort of video output does your video game, DVD (usually component and S-VHS), and VCR (usually composite and sometimes S-VHS) have, and what sort of video inputs does your computer monitor have. Also you need to figure out how to get sound too, because a lot of computer monitors don't include built-in speakers.
