Why does only one of my surround sound speakers crackle at low volumes?
I have a component stereo system and was wondering if I can use the present speakers as my rear speakers for the TV-surround sound? In other words, is it a potentially fatal mistake to have 2 different amp sources going into one speaker set?

Yes,The more powerful amp will back feed the smaller amp(the TV)and blow the amp in the TV.
