Where can I get the manual for the Sims 2 games?

I have a dell vista with a 512 mb ram but i play the sims 2 games and with a vista u have to have 512 just for 2 of the games iam running out of room so how can i get more ram without haveing to buy a chip to put into my pc can i use a video card or a usb

    You can't. You have to buy the RAM chips and put them in. System RAM is just that: system RAM. There are no 'substitutes'. Check your motherboard's specifications (you can find them at the manufacturer's web site) to find the maximum amount of RAM you can put on your board, and what type it uses. There is no way to 'get around' the issue of not enough system RAM other than buying the chips. You can't 'fake' it with USB drives, flash drives, jump drives, hard drives, or video cards.

There is no substitute for on-board RAM. If you're running Windows Vista you should have a minimum of 2Gb of RAM and I personally would recommend 3Gb. However therre is a quick fix that may help. Again, this will only work with Windows Vista. Get yourself a "readyboost" capable USB flash drive (a 4Gb drive should cost you about $25-$30 max). With Vista running insert the flash drive into a USB 2.0 connector and Windows should recognize it and ask you if you wish to configure the drive as "readyboost". Answer "yes". Windows Vista will use a "readyboost" USB drive for disk caching, this will not increase your actual system memory but will allow the computer more options and a larger "sandbox" to play in. Check it out; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReadyBoost Once again, I will point out that the best thing is to increase your on-board RAM (another 512Mb minimum/2Gb perfered). If you can't or won't, this is the only other thing you can do. Hope this helps.
