How do i flash my alltell phone to a cricket phone

Answer:
If you try to flash your Alltel phone to Cricket and Cricket does not sell the phone you have, there is no software image to flash the phone to and what most people do is to flash it to something "similar". This creates issues in that you will not be able to use the phone for anything other than voice and maybe text, but you won't be able to access the internet or send and receive picture messages and there is a good possibility that other features of the phone won't work. The only time you should consider flashing another carrier's phone is when both carriers sell the same phone. And you can go directly to Cricket to have them flash the phone for you. The phone also has to be unlocked. I hope this helps. SukiSue
