We just got our kitten spayed. She has a hood on, and when she is not trying to get the hood off, she is able to bite at her stitches! What can we do? Is there anything we can put on the stitches?

Answer:
We just had our puppies spayed and the vet. said that it is normal for cats to take their stitches out, but not for puppies - which they both did. I would not worry about it unless the incision becomes red and inflamed. Cats/kittens are pretty hardy and heal quickly.
