How to set default color for printer?

I have an HP Deskjet 3745 Color Inkjet Printer, how can i change the default print settings? I want to set it for faster, lower quality printing because i have a lot of text to print but when i change the settings they always change back the next use.

Normally when you install an HP Printer, it comes with the disc. Once the installation is completed, it installs utility programs *HP Tools* on your computer. You can change many settings from that program. If you don't have that program, you can go to Start > Control Panel > Printers. Once there, right-click on the printer that you have installed and click properties. From there, navigate through the tabs and find the options you are looking for. Best of luck.
