Answer:
No such thing as too late:) Case in point, in my graduate program there was a lovely gentleman named David who had just gotten his Bachelors and was now pursuing his Masters degree in History. He was 75. And one of the greatest people I have ever met. Go back to school. You won't regret it! Good Luck!

I'm 52 qnd about to embark on an accredited counselling course. My partner is 47, and he's just in his 3rd and final year of a Law degree course. He's going to follow up with a Master's degree and then lecture. Go for it, you're plenty young enough.

Look you could start now, or you could still be in exactly the same position, wondering if its too late, four years from now. You're old enough to know how 48 months can disappear in a blink. Go for it!

I went back to school after my 3rd child turned 1. I took a light load the first semester (12 credits) and then dove in full force after that. I graduated with honors after two years and loved it. My whole family had to make some sacrifices, but it was really worth it. I remember being grateful that I went back when I wanted to and so it was more important to me to do well. I saw a lot of kids just wasting their parents money because they took college for granted. Go back to school. It will change your life.

It's never too late to do what makes you happy. You'll take it more seriously now than you would have 20 years ago anyway.

No way 40's too old. You'll be a day older tomorrow anyway, so go for it. . I went to college at 57. My life's experiences made it easier for me than for most of the young kids who still had trouble balancing a checkbook. . The professors will admire you and the kids will be scared of you because they know they don't know squat!

Heck no your not too old,I dated a 48 yr. old who, after a 30 year marriage and divorce, went to massage therapy school and made a new beginning. We aren't together any longer, but I know she has made a good living doing this and has been contented with the choice of career paths.
