How do you interpret the "scratchy" sound of rock music?

Did video kill the radio star? 30 years ago the New Wave rock group The Buggles made this statement: "Video killed the radio star". My question to you is - has video music had any real affect on plain old sound only music and if so what? http://www.youtub

  • Answer:

Hmm, I like your question and I have often wondered the same thing myself. I feel that yes, in a way video has truly had a major effect on pure music. Now a days, people enjoy the visuals more than the actual tunes. They like to watch and listen rather than just listen. I think people like to watch the stories in the video than listen to them. Same goes for books vs. movies based on books. Some people would rather watch the movie than read the book

Yes, I believe the music videos have sold songs and made stars, that otherwise wouldn't have been.
