How to learn anything fast?

Hay, can any one on this site hack into computers? how long dose it take to learn something like this? how often should i practice a day? what kinds of things can i do to practice. im not going to do anything illegal. please dont flag this question.

    OK, firstly you will need an interest in computers. There are programs that would enable you to deface websites and access password protected ftp and mail servers that may only take 10 mins to learn how to use. This is ok if thats what you want to do, but there is much more to be found. Hacking into computers is a very broad term. You should start with selecting a specific topic of interest; you cant learn everything at once! You will never learn everything there is to know about computer security but the fun is in the learning and I doubt that will ever stop. If you want to know more about the topic, post a way for me to contact you in private (email etc) and I will show you the basics.
