How do I clean Windows hosts file?

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET ONTO THE HOSTS FILE ON WINDOWS xp?

  • Answer:

    Start -> Run -> type "drivers" into the box, then a folder opens - open Etc and there's your HOSTS file. Use notepad to modify it.

Yelling (caps) will get you no where... Well, i guess in this case that anit true... You can find the HOSTS file here %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\ (system root being where your windows directory is, ie, c:\windows) Apology accepted
