Why does my google chrome look different?

What are the main reasons why Google Chrome uses less memory than Firefox? Just a quick look, and Firefox is using 79,000k, whereas chrome is using about 30,000. Also, is this reasonable? Does high memory usage slow down load time?

  • Answer:

Perhaps one of the main reasons is that Google Chrome isn't as resource-hungry as Firefox, and maybe also that it doesn't include as many features as what Firefox does. I suppose it's reasonable enough - it just depends on what you think personally, and which web browser is right for you.
