How can I develop my ideas into a tv script and eventually create a tv show?

  I have a friend who has this obsession with writing scripts. He sent some of his material to Marvel and they have responded promisingly, saying they will consider some of his work when they're older. You want plenty of contacts and you want to make a lot of material and you want to really go for it. Trust me, when you really want something, adults notice, like your drive and opportunities come your way. It's not AS hard as people make it out to be. The only reason people haven't been that successful as they should be is because of self-restraint. I'm not even kidding, all those high school musical songs are true. "Reach for dreams"... how cliched, I'm sorry to bereft you with that kind of b/s... but really do :)
