How can I modify a PSP myself?

Hello!i have psp2004 is. i cant play games stored in the memory card. how can i modify the psp?

  you have to put custom firmware on ur psp to play games on ur ms...if u have CFW(custom firmware) push the select button it brings up ur VSH menu...set it to cpu clock xmb 333/166 cpu clock game 333/166 usb device memory stick UMD ISO MODE M33 driver, also make sure ur not in 150 kernel. to do this <hold power until psp turns off, hold the R trigger while powering it back up. this takes you to the Recovery menu{black screen with red/white writing} goto configuration, then to Game folder homebrew: set it to ur m-33 version, IE: mines is m33-3.71 so my kernel is set to the 3.71 kernel>some other options you might want to enable is<fake region, enable: free UMD region, enable:Use VSH MENU {thats the select button option i mentioned earlier}XMB Usb Device :Memory Stick.>....if all that doesn't work you may have your games in the wrong folder...make sure ur games are in the ISO folder on the root of ur Memory Stick (the root is the main menu of ur memory stick where u see MP_ROOT, PSP, GAME<-if u made a game folder,ISO<--this folder is where ur psp games go.)the game files should be iso or cso...if you extracted a rar'd game using winrar and it was another rar file inside of the first one u extracted, you place THAT one on ur memory stick, DON'T EXTRACT THAT ONE, or else u'll end up with a bunch of files that you can't use...IE: rar inside of a rar the one inside will end with .iso or cso...or both .iso.cso simply put in the ISO folder and exit...hope this tutorial helps you troubleshoot ur psp.
