Dayton Ohio got sued for making the civil service test to hard for minorities. How come minorities don't get insulted by people saying they are to stupid to take a civil service test?

That's outrageous. I am sure they do. I suppose there are things that are unique to a particular ethnic group. One could develop a test that most inner-city gang-bangers could easily pass but that would completely confound me, an educated white. It's possible the suit charges that the reverse has been done here. That has been a problem with typical IQ tests. They were developed based on what affluent whites should know, and other groups routinely scored poorly on them even though they often had very high cognitive ability. Is this what is at issue, or do they truly want the test dumbed down?
