How do you keep a pillow cool?

I have this pillow that doesn't have a sheet, how do i wash it? Its a pillow from Kohls, the big square rock n roll one, but no sheet, no zipper, so how do I keep it clean?

  this is going to sound silly, but it's true. Put detergent and water in the bathtub, then put the pillow in there and jump up and down on it, turn it over and do more of the same. I would suggest you put on some fun jumping up and down music on while you are doing it. Now replace the water with clear and do more of the same until you get all the soap out. Let it dry, preferably in the sun, and then spray it with scotch guard to help protect it in the future.
