How to fix Internet Explorer?

There is something really wrong with my computer!i uninstalled my Internet Explorer and when I click URLs from outside my internet browser my Internet Explorer will appear and hang.how do i fix this?

    to my knowledge, you cannot normally uninstall Internet Explorer ( this side of Windows 7 that is)as it is integral to the system, and Microsoft uses it for Windows Updates. How then do you reckon to have uninstalled it I wonder. Did you do it via Add/Remove in Control Panel? That would have rolled back from IE7 to IE6 if so - or did you simply attempt to remove the folder from Program Files. If there is still an entry for IE in Add/Remove, and you click on it, there should be an option to repair, though that will not fix every problem. System Restore to a pre-problem date might also help, or downloading a copy of the browser install files from the web and putting them on a stick ( you need internet access for it complete) or getting IE6 off a PC magazine cover disk. Once you have it back, it would be a good idea to download a copy of Firefox as well.
