How do I file taxes when I worked in two different states?
Ahhh taxes... I am doing my taxes myself this year for the first time. I worked last year in two different states (Colorado and Alabama). Do I file my state income taxes in both states or just the one where I currently reside?

Answer:
Both, unless the state you moved from does not require you to file state taxes (like Texas).
