What's the big difference between a 2ohm sub and a 4ohm sub? Which would people suggest? I'm still new to all this stuff and am trying to gain as much information as possible.

Answer:
ohms are resistance. the lower the ohms, the lower the resistance, the more power they can handle. you can reduce the resistance by wireing you speakers in parallel which cuts the resistance in half. for best performance you want to impedence match which means if your amp is 2ohms run your speakers at 2 ohms. if its 4ohms wire your subs for 4 ohms. if its 1 then 1. matching is the key
