Is it wrong to name your child after a deceased family member?

In you had to name your child after: 1) a gem (ruby, garnet ect) 2) a flower 3) a family member 4) a place (china, london ect) 5) a brand (product name) what would they be?

    1) F: Sapphire, M: Jasper 2) F: Rose, M: Sage (the sage plant has flowers) 3) F: Rebekka, M: Radu 4) F: Roma (Texas or Australia), M: Devon (England) 5) F: Lily (pharmaceutical), M: Eli (pharmaceutical, part of the same corporation as Lily, in fact) I tried to think of names that would not give the child grief in America but, when it came to "family member", that was difficult because my family is Romanian Gypsies. I tried to pick the ones that would give the child the least amount of hell in America.
