We've recently had a New Colour Wheel replaced in our Samsung 42" HD tV.. now we are also getting an orangy glow.. especially on faces.. anyone have any ideas? we have High Def cable running to the television and all connections seem ok

when the part was replaced the CCA & pin phase should have been set for the new part, sounds like this was not done

Hi,its sounds like an issue with the dmd.This is how the dmd works: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm Basically the dmd is a chip that carries 2 million pixels that create the image and colors .When its bad it will cause pixilation,color discoloration or stripes.God bless you! It could also be that you need to adjust the color setting on your color wheel.
