If you have an active account on Yahoo! that was suspended from Yahoo! Answers and change your IP address, then will you still get your email on that same account AND create another account for Yahoo! Answers that will not get suspended for no reason?

Answer:
When you are a member in Yahoo you have two accounts, one is your email account and the second is your Y!A account. So remember you have two accounts, one ID and one password. 1] If your Y!A account was suspended you don't have an active Y!A account anymore you only have an active email account, your ID and password and that is it. 2] If you have been banned then you have lost both accounts as mentioned before, you also lost your ID and password and can not use the same ones again for a period of 5 years. 3] How can you know what has happened? Try to log in and if the system does not recognize your ID and/or password you have been banned. 4] Lets suppose your email account is still active and not banned. If you change your IP address the system will not recognize your ID and password. Yahoo identifies their users primarily by their IP address and then verifies the IP against the Yahoo ID + password. 5] If you change your IP forget your email account and whatever is in it, you can not access your email. 6] There is no way you can create a new account and use the old email and/or Y!A accounts. 7] If you change your IP you need to start in zero, create a new email and a new Y!A accounts. Sorry but those are the rules in Yahoo.

I think I would have first tried to find out why they suspended me, and if I had no idea myself and they did not explain it to me, I would go to another Q&A site. I found this interesting case: "I have always championed Google services over competitors with one exception: Yahoo Answers. Their interface is, sorry to say, superior to what Google offered. However, I recently had my account cancelled with no warning despite the fact that I was a highly rated contributor who was a subject matter expert in Identity Theft issues. Though they claim I violated their policy, I don’t believe them and they have refused to provide any justification what-so-ever. If you are interested in promoting bad press about your competitor, I would be happy to be a spokesperson on your behalf. People should know that a company that treats customers as Yahoo does is not worth getting involved with.
