How much should I charge for ads on my website??

If I want to start a website and charge for ads eventually what is the process that I need to go through? I intend to run some tournaments for some online games around the net. That's my idea at the moment but the main idea is to charge for ads.

    start the page make the ad space, and then advertise to the advertisers, easy realy you just go here greedy bastard here boy, good greedy bastard. the hard part is getting them to NOT spam you page wich cuts down on willing vivsitors playing your games, Im doing the same thing you are. (if I ever get outta colledge)just read the fine print or they'll have popups cookies and all else. what site by the way I could use a good comp with fellow gamers

You can go to Godaddy and get a unique domain name and hosting. You can also develop your website and then start campaigning for people to buy ad space.
