What visa does a baby need?

If i gave birth to my baby in turkey would she need a visa to come to the uk? i am a british citizon and live in england but would like the birth with babies father in turkey. i do need to know if she will need visa coming home to uk though.

    As a UK citizen your first port of call should be the Citizens Advice Bureaux. Have a look on the website to find your nearest centre and go in and speak to them, it's free and impartial. They will brief you on your rights and any formal procedures you may need to follow as they keep and research up to date information from the home office. Yes you do even if the you are from England.Your baby was not born there so yes your baby needs a Visa.GOOD LUCK though!!!

Generally the child of a British Citizen is a British Citizen wherever born, so you child would have immediate right of entry. However, you would need to prove this, so I strongly recommend that you find out what is the right paperwork to prove the babies identity on entry before you embark on this course. The law is (I think, but I am not a lawyer) on your side, but a suspicious immigration official (and they are paid to be suspicious) could cause you big problems if you are not prepared.
