My nephew got my son hooked on Godzilla and now that is all i hear all day,is my three year old thinking he is godzilla.What should i do?Have you seen how bad the acting is in these movies are?

Godzilla kicks ass! It could be worse....he could be hooked on Teletubbies.

I'm sure he'll grow out of it eventually. Besides who watches those kindsa films for the acting anyways.

He will explore it until he is satisfied and then move on. If you make a big deal about it he will react to that as well, and probably negatively. Tolerate in the short term, the long term will be something else for him. It will pass.

Be happy that he doesn't think he's this guy:

Kids go through these kinds of phases. He'll be onto something else in a couple of weeks.

Let him be a kid. He'll have enough time as an adult to be an adult. But he can never regain his childhood again once he outgrows it. My son went through a stage like this, where EVERYTHING he did was Godzilla. His walk, his screech, building Godzilla out of Legos...He eventually moved on to other things, though he retains a love for things Godzilla still. Watch the movies with him. Enjoy the bad acting and poor dubbing. Eventually he'll learn to like the movies just for that. And if you REALLY wanna be cool...buy matching Godzilla T-shirts! One for him and one for you! You will be SO cool to him for that!
