Some Asian people have very pale skin with simmular tint to white people, and some white people have very dark, tan skin. How are Asians with fair skin not white, and the tan skin people are? And why do we assoite skin with heratage?

More than just ethnicity goes into heritage. I believe that you are discussing specifically ethnicity in this question because you mention skin color which is straight up genetics. Please correct me if I am wrong in this and I shall give you a better answer. For each ethnicity there is a general appearance... more of individuals of that ethnicity have that general appearance than not. There are variations, of course. It is more than just skin color that identify someone physically as one ethnicity or another, however, skin color is the most obvious. For example, I am unusually pale for my ethnicity. However, the rest of my physical characteristics match the general description for my ethnicity so that, if a person knows what one of us looks like, they say that I look like a Gypsy.

Welcome to a great realization. Appearances can be deceiving. Ignore my wig, my toupee, my tanning salon, my hair color. And what have you now? A need, a desire, a dream to see people from the inside.

. . . . . . No one does associate skin with heritage. "White" has NOTHING to do with the color of one's skin. It has ALL to do with ethnicity. Asians aren't white because they're Asian, not because their skin isn't light.

I'm an asian, and I have very pale skin. All my friends have told me that I look extremely pale. But I like that, because I look awesome with spikey hair.
