Can you burn a dmg file with toast and than open on a dvd-player if it's password protected? (I think someone is trying to burn my disk image onto a dvd)

Answer:
I'm not familiar with Mac file systems but I know a dmg is the Mac disk image format. I suspect "password protected" is a low level encryption that hides the data from practical use until a password is entered. A moderately to experienced hacker may be able to do so if your password is a single word, even more so if this single word is found in the dictionary. But an average person trying to be malicious is going to have a really hard time and will probably fail.
