Answer:
SMS is incapable of transferring photos. MMS can do it if your phone can handle MMS. I cheated a bit with my phone. I took a picture with my phone, e-mailed it to myself, then added my phone to my list of contacts. Now whenever I want to send a pic to my phone, I just resize it (for quicker transfer AND to avoid overloading my phone's limited memory) and email it to my phone, which is already on my contact list.
