What are some suggestions and ideas on things I could look at doing through University to get me out of the 'administration field' I enjoy working with people in the office - but would love something hands on as well. What are your ideas? =]

Don't go too a University only to have a large bill you will have to pay off, go to a tech school instead of course there will be a bill but it will not be as high and you will learn exactly what you wanted to in a particular field...

engineering!!! i woulda done that but didnt do well enough at school now im doing economics, politics and philosophy. a lot more fun then i was expecting. not sure what kinda job im guna end in tho

You could be a cage fighter. That's hands on and working with people at the same time! But seriously. Anything in ministry is pretty good for such things. Or you could do some sort of cashier job(not exactly appealing, but I'm trying to throw some ideas out there), or umm... Going into sales, like cars or something like that. Even better could be real estate, although that's probably a ton of paperwork. Just had the perfect idea. Psychologist. Very people oriented! Although that doesn't fit in with hands on, does it? hummmm.... I see why you asked this, it's rather difficult to answer.
