Getting music onto phone?

Verizon Phones... if you switch to a new phone or get a new phone as a present, and you just bought games and/or music or something, not knowing you were getting a new phone, will they give you a credit thing to get those games without repaying?

  The first step would be to verify whether the games and other downloads are even compatible with your new phone. It's worth asking, but cellular providers aren't in the habit of "freebies," even if it's something you've already paid for once.
