Is Internet service any good from a wireless phone company like ATT or Sprint? I'm talking about the kind where you use one of those USB plug-in devices.

Answer:
Sprint's service is pretty good, and they're pretty honest about what your charges will be. AT&T not so good. Verizon is okay, but hideously expensive (they don't tell you all the extra charges that'll be on your bill when you first sign up--charges that basically double your monthy rate, i.e. the bill for your $39.95 plan will be closer to $70 a month--not counting the hidden charges and usage fees if you go over limits [even on "unlimited usage" plans]).
