I want my ex back any advice.

A week ago, I made a mistake hooked up with a friend. My ex called and wanted to get back together, so I told him what happened. Hes upset and says I killed the relat. and that he doesnt want to get back with me. But now all I want is him back. Advice plz

  First of all, let's understand the sequence of events here: You have an EX...this means that the two of you are NO LONGER AN ISSUE in terms of a relationship. Whether he's your ex-boyfriend or ex-husband, makes no difference. Starting from that point, when you "hooked up with a friend", you made no mistake. This is because YOU WERE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH ANYONE ELSE! Now, your ex attempts to re-enter the picture. He's upset? WAH! The two of you WERE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP anymore when you went out with your friend! Regardless of your feelings for your ex, his getting upset about this and BLAMING YOU for "killing" the relationship is a crock of sh*t and is called a "guilt trip". You may feel like you want him back, true. But I would submit that YOU need to look back on what you posted in your question and ask yourself these questions (and answer them HONESTLY): 1. What did my ex's actions about my hooking up with someone else say about him? 2. Is it worth it to try to get back together with my ex, knowing what his reactions revealed to me about himself? Even if I think I want to get back with him? If you have broken up with someone, neither of you have the right to dictate ANY terms about relationships with others. You AIN'T a couple! And, if you AIN'T a couple, then there is NO RELATIONSHIP TO DESTROY between the two of you! My advice? He's your ex. Keep it that way and move on with your life.
