How can I send faxes from the internet using my fax number?

Using Windows XP Pro, I can switch my default printer to default fax & send a fax. However, I cannot receive faxes. My fax function recognizes the incoming ring & picks it up, but the incoming faxes always end up with an error & loss of fax. What to do?

  You'll need to install the proper software or 3rd party software as the windows default is crap and only works for a few fax printers
