I have a question. Is it better to do my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at a university (Waterloo university) in the country I live in (Canada) then do my Masters in engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA?

Answer:
Both are top universities...so in terms of reputation, you have it made. You will be recruited right from your graduation class....good for you! So...what would be the other deciding factors...moving? money? accomodation? family? co-op ed? I do not see a problem with your plan at all.....
