Is PSP Go Messenger the same as MSN?

I went to get onto MSN messenger today but it told me I have to download the new version to get on. So i did and now when I go to sign in it tells me this.."You need to use an eariler version of Messenger because this is an MSN Premium Parental Control.

  Cant offer a solution ~ just letting you know, you're not the only one. I've been googling this the last few nights. One of my logons works fine, but another comes up with the parental control message and wont let me log in. Besides that, the new MSN Live that is being forced upon users, is causing heaps of problems, so we've done away with it and uninstalled it altogether. We'll be using online webmessenger or logging in via Meebo.com. Doesnt have all the bells and whistles but at least they work. I think you'll find if you use an older version, even in compatibility mode, you may still get the "this is a child passport" warning, Or the "you MUST ugrade or forever hold your peace" message.
