Using Microsoft Excel TEXT BOX insert feature: Is there a way to change the auto default font that pops up when you add a text box? I know how to change the text box font, but it always defaults to a font I never use. I want to change the default font.

Answer:
After you've inserted the text box and set your formatting to your liking...right-click on the box to get the short menu (not inside the box). Select "SET AS DEFAULT TEXT BOX" Every text box you use thereafter (for that spreadsheet) will default to the your chosen format. Unfortunately, outside of writing code to have this done automatically, you'll need to set the default for each new spreadsheet you open.
