What are some affordable vacations spots?

Over the yrs my mum has paid for plane trips to various vacation spots, but these vacations ravage our finances bc we still have to pay for accommodation, food, etc. She considers these great gifts but I can't afford to accept them anymore! What to do?

  Your mum sounds very generous and is giving what she can. You know her personality. I would thank her profusely and then show her the estimated expenses in writing that I can no longer pay. Maybe ask her what can be done when she is being so generous. I wouldn't show her my salary, budget, etc., only that expenses on these trips have become outrageous.
