I like the trend of "natural" remedies over harsh chemicals but do you think it's gone too far? Just 'cause it's synthetic doesn't make it poisonous and just 'cause it's "natural" does not make it safe. Some of the most toxic substances come from nature.

It's all about marketing. Package it well, tell Americans it will make their life better, and they will buy into it.

It's like the organic craze. Everybody thinks that the food will be healthier if they don't use chemical fertilizers. The thing is, those chemical fertilizers haven't ever caused any problems. And, without those fertilizers, you can't grow as much food in the same area of land. This means more land needs to be used to grow the same amount of food. That's pretty wasteful. And finally, because they are forced to use natural manure fertilizer, the cases of E.coli in organic food are very numerous. Many people don't seem to realize that water is a chemical. An acid, in fact.

Yes, it has gone too far. Natural does not mean healthy. People have died from using so-called "natural" medicines. Homeopathy, for the most part, is a joke.
