Hi. I have a toshiba laptop without dv slots, only USB cords will work with it. My camcorder model is JVC GR-D750. How am I supposed to transfer my video to my laptop when you need a dv cable which is not compatible with my pc?

Answer:
I'm not familiar with your model camcorder but, if it has an SD memory card you can take that out and plug it into the card reader slot on the laptop and transfer them that way. If your laptop does not have a card reader you can buy one fairly cheap. They plug into the USB slot on the laptop.
